When I sat down in 2022 to watch the 2018 comedy show "John Leguizamo's Latin History for Morons", I must admit that I was expecting to be made to laugh and have a good time, as John Leguizamo usually is a good performer.
However, I must say that "John Leguizamo's Latin History for Morons" fell short of providing me with much fun and laughs. Sure, John Leguizamo did have a lot on his heart to tell to the audience, but it just wasn't funny. A lot of history facts and obscure information that is not readily accessible or available in the common history books. But this was not a funny show.
John Leguizamo is definitely good on the stage and demands attention. However, the contents of the show just wasn't laced with much of any humor that fell into my liking. But hey, if you enjoy history, then you could probably get a kick or two from watching "John Leguizamo's Latin History for Morons".
Lots of interesting facts and bits of information throughout the course of this show, no doubt about it. But I was expecting comedy to be entertained in that way, not to sit through a history lesson.
