Aamir Khan Best Movie
4 July 2022
Probably a biased review because I am a huge fan of this movie. A movie which I watched end number of times and have memorised every dialogue of the movie.

A cop movie which tries to solve a case which has a link with terrorism and has some shocking revelation at the climax. A parallel story of Cop's personal life is very well presented in a simple non-stereotypical manner. Amir Khan's character which plays a balance between tough cop and an innocent small-town guy is very well executed. Sonali is a treat to watch for her mesmerising beauty and bubbly behaviour. Naseeruddin is at his best as usual and Mukesh Rishi as Salim, Pradeep Rawat as Sultan, Rajesh Joshi and Makrand Despande are few characters who certainly leave a mark in your mind. Unlike other cop movies which emphasise more on violence and the glorification of the lead actor, this movie is very balanced when it comes to storytelling. Except for songs, not a single moment of the movie seems boring. Certainly, a movie that one should not miss watching. How I wished that the movie had a sequel, especially when a tipper(informer) gives a clue about Veeran at the end.

And yes, don't miss to notice Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the movie.

Dialogues you will always remember:

* Don't mind * Asman main, tada..... * Ghazal lines * Phir kabhi kisi Salim se mat Kehna ... yeh mulk uska ghar nahi * Kya Thakur tereko kitni baar bulaya tu aata nahi hai yaar

Watch this movie:

* If you like a no-nonsense movie * Like simple storytelling movie * Like light-hearted cop movie * Like Ghazals * And of course if you are a huge fan of Aamir Khan.
