Some atrocious acting by Sienna Miller. Unbearable. She was more concerned with how she sounded rather than what she was actually saying, but she did have some good moments in spite of and she did have energy which this show is always lacking in. Some silly gratuitous nudity. There is absolutely no reason for that man to just stand there naked. Actors are taking off clothes and putting on clothes and then taking them off again; Hopping in and out of the shower for absolutely no reason whatsoever and honestly, it's insulting to the piece. I'm all for nudity but not when it's done to be salacious. It did put the hot in it though. The southern accents from the cast are so affected and all over the place. The writing is too dated and melodramatic and crams waaay too much into one night but still brilliant at times. The scenic design was absolutely odd and dreadful. It was cold. It was boring, it was fraudulent, it was pretentious. Pass. The best performances are: Big Daddy, Brick, and Mae. Big Mamma got better in the end.
