Warning: Spoilers
Surprising true story of Robert Freegard (James Norton), a con man who persuades his victims he an MI5 spy, recruiting them and then getting them to commit funds to help avoid being exposed and even killed, usually by the IRA. The focus is upon his latest target, solicitor, Gemma Arterton and how she sets out to get him.

Interesting enough thriller, once again showing what a terrific actor Norton is, who can jump with great ease from deeply charming to deeply unpleasant. Arterton does well as the woman who falls head over heels in love with him and then has to overcome that to get her revenge. It has its moments but comes across more as a Sunday night tv thriller and really only comes truly alive when Norton is in it. Worth a look, but not exactly ground breaking.
