After finally watching this, I understood how my town came to be as it is.
I was raised in clifton forge, where it was shot and takes place. It hit home and continues to do so, being an addict and from here it kind of put me into flashbacks of sorts. It gives a new appreciation for the second chances some of us were given. Well directed, well written, and well casted, keaton hit the mark especially hard with this one. Several of the extras are close friends of mine. My one "concern" is that Clifton Forge is a logging town and a central railroad hub, not a mining town, for that you gotta go 35 miles down the road to west virginia and you're in coal country.
