I love John Bernthal. I like everything he's in except this. I loved him in the Walking Dead and Punisher.
It seems like a good third of every episode is flashbacks. They have flashbacks from the same episode, two episodes ago, the first episode, etc. I already watched it. I don't need to watch it five more times. And the romance flashbacks are exhausting. I don't need to see 30 of them. Show one or two flashbacks. This series should have been 3 episodes.
The scenes with the mother seem exaggerated. We getbshe lives in squalor. It seems cliche.
All in all the show could be much better if not for a few issues.
