Went in hoping for more of a 'Warrior' type flick. Much more of a drama and a lot less fighting than expected. Which is fine, but the drama is just about a couple of skids with a cumulative IQ of about 98. Both Charlie Hunnam and Jack O'Connell acted their characters to perfection, I just didn't care for their characters all that much. 'Out of the Furnace' came to mind as it had a similar depressed and gritty feel to it, but overall 'Jungleland' was not in the same weight class as that film.
I thought the ending was well crafted, and I loved the 'Dream Baby Dream' from Bruce Springsteen inclusion to cap it all off.
