This an excruciating experience... Imagine if someone remade Reservoir Dogs and, the battle of wits between the elusive protagonist & the antagonist that is bleeding to death scene , but this version is devoid of redeemable characters... Wonder no more as this is pretty much what I imagine it would look like.
There is a bunch of unlikable characters & the story arch of this film just beggars belief. I can see that they were intending to write a gritty storyline whereby the unlikely protagonist does one decent thing in his life to try to "redeem" himself. It failed big style which is a shame as it got Kevin Bacon in this.
The potential for a passable film diminished after the first 15 minutes. What the writers managed to make is a film that is at its very essence is a black hole that sucks up any enjoyment & the viewer is left out in space: feeling empty after watching this.
