Martin Short was a fabulous Lumiere - loved the jokes between him and David Allen Grier. The Rose contemporary dancing was a fresh take. As was the dinner scene. Very cleverly executed! What a brilliant way to celebrate it's 30 years - I really enjoyed the original animation and learning more about how the show came to be. Glad they honored Angela Lansbury as well. My only criticism was the over-intentional color blinding of the cast. Belle is black, but her father is Asian? Kinda odd and unnecessary as there were several ethnicities presented among the other cast members. But overall this was a terrific tribute.
