Somewhat fascinating love story about a virus that causes people to forget everything and everyone, but a lot of questions go unanswered most particularly, to me, who do these people think they are once they've lost all memory?! It centers on a couple wonderfully performed by Olivia Cooke and a very engaging Jack O'Connell at his most charming. I'm not sure the structure of showing some of the finale at the very beginning really works that well along with the non-linear style throughout, but nevertheless, it is always interesting. It's also very, very sad to watch as some lose their memories quickly, but for some others it's a very slow process that they are aware of and it is so very painful for them and us to behold. It's so moving watching O'Connell's character trying to be so upbeat throughout it all and Cooke's trying to be so strong for him. Even the title eventually becomes sad.
