American Gigolo is a Showtime series that stars Jon Bernthal who plays a gigolo and at a young age was sold to a mistress by his mother. He is accompanied with Wayne Brady to serve their master to whomever the mistress arranges for them. One of the ladies ends up dead and Jon serves 15 years for a crime he didn't commit and ends up getting acquitted. Rose O'Donnell played Detective Sunday, she was the one who put him in jail but yet she was the one who has her eye on him. The storyline evolves around Jon, his upbringing and all the troubles he has ever been in. Her falls in love with Gretchen Mol and she ends up marrying Leland Orser while he was serving his time. The series was a couple episodes too long and kept repeating the past and it became too redundant. This was an ok series produced by Jared Leto and Jerry Bruckheimer but with these names it just didn't carry well. The series is not associated with the 1980 movie by the same name that Stared Richard Gere. I don't see myself watching it again.
