This could have been a great music biopic, it had great music and a good story, but what ruins it is Dennis Quaids poor impression.
He gurns his way through with the worlds worst overacting that I have ever seen. Jerry Lee had charisma and his live act was mesmerizing, but Quaid reduces it to a ridiculous circus act.
