No pun intended - again the story is really paper thin ... and I may be way too nice in saying that. There is not really much here - and it is riddled with cliches. But this is not why you came here. I assume you've seen the first one - and if you liked it, you will like this too. Some of the same players are back, some new faces ... and new haircuts.
This also may have set up the beauty shop ... though this was not just made for that reason (I assume). What was quite interesting to see: the R. Kelly story ... I had forgotten it had been out so long ago ... I mean yes he fancied Aaliyah and all that ... but it seems many knew quite a lot, a lot sooner. Anyway this is just a quite ... quip/quote, but it may stick with you, especially if you followed what happend the last couple of years.
But the movie has other memorable things going for it ... if you are into it ... ridiculous end of the second act included ... but it had to happen I assume.
