Live Reaction / Review for A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010): I expected a reboot but I read that this is a remake of the classic. I hope it's decent because the rating is pretty bad. The way this Dean guy died was cool. About the new Freddy design I don't know how I feel about it yet, looks kind of weird. I knew Freddy looks familiar, the actor is Jackie Earle Haley and I remember his amazing performance from Zack Snyder's ''Watchmen''. It feels kind of weird hearing a different voice for Freddy but I kind of like it. About how Freddy looks now i guess you get used to it. Did he really kill the dog? If yes that sucks!
Not the doggo man. The scene where she is flying in the room gave me exorcist vibes, really cool. Wait is she dead? I thought she is the protagonist? Going to jail for a crime Freddy did? That sucks really bad. My rating for the first half of the movie is 6.5. Lets see if it gets better or worse. The flashbacks with Freddy and how he died where amazing, really loved it. Ok, after watching the whole film I have to admit that while it's not a masterpiece, we have many thrills, suspense, creepy moments, atmosphere and good performances. I don't understand why the rating is so low (5.2/10).
