Season 1: Stories lacking emotion or drama, boring characters you don't care much about, actors with blank expressions just going through the motions. It's start trek, so you watch it, but it will not leave a lasting impression.
It's clearly trying to focus on female characters, the male ones look a bit like side stories, but the women here have very little character, pun intended. You may criticise Discovery, but that one had some strong ladies that shook the screen. The ones in SNW look like high school girls.
Hope the series takes some risks and moves at warp in season two, instead of dragging its feet... Fingers crossed.
