Not slow-paced at all
24 August 2023
Let me start off by saying that the movie in general (the costumes, the scenery, cinematography etc.) was pretty good.

However, the music was something that I simply couldn't get over. It was way too contemporary for what this movie depicted. It didn't fit any of the scenes right.

The casting was wonderfully done, although I do think that the role of Virginia Woolf should have gone to someone older. She was supposed to be around 40 years old and Vita 30-ish. It looks like it's the other way around.

The story itself was told beautifully. Some might say it was too slow-paced and there wasn't enough 'passion'. They couldn't be more wrong. It was very passionate, it just wasn't that erotic. Many people are used to the fact that many romantic movies nowadays are filled to the brim with erotic scenes. In Vita & Virginia, they focused more on love instead of lust (which I LOVED. Very refreshing).
