Birth/Rebirth (2023)
3/10
So very, very dull...
5 September 2023
Right, well I had absolutely no idea what I was in for here, as I sat down to watch the 2023 movie "Birth/Rebirth", aside from it being a thriller or a horror movie. That, and the fact that I hadn't already seen the movie, made me sit down and watch the movie.

Well, I managed to sit through an insanely boring 62 minutes of the ordeal, then I just tossed the towel in the ring out of sheer and utter boredom. The synopsis for the movie sounded fair enough, but the storyline and script in the movie, as written by Laura Moss and Brendan J. O'Brien just failed to catch my interest. The narrative was bland and rather pointless, as the story trotted on in a monotonous pace, and I found nothing exciting or thrilling in the storyline.

The movie has a fairly small cast ensemble, but I will say that the leading actresses, Marin Ireland and Judy Reyes, carried the movie quite nicely with their performance, despite the fact that the storyline failed to entertain me.

Visually then there was nothing to be impressed or thrilled about in "Birth/Rebirth".

This is not a movie that I will ever return to finish watching the remaining 34 minutes of, as I just simply didn't care about the characters nor found much of any entertainment in the storyline.

My rating of director Laura Moss's 2023 pseudo-Frankensteinesque movie "Birth/Rebirth" lands on a very generous three out of ten stars.
