I don't get how the writers can be so good at times yet make bonehead mistakes.
1. They get away in the Mercedes and don't even switch cars? Any car but the one they drove off in, just grab a civilian's car.
2. Carrie is trying to hide, they're looking for Simone yet she doesn't remove her wig? She would've been a ghost by simply doing that!
3. The president decides to resign because half of the nation doesn't trust her. First, that's true of every president. Second, she JUST got her reputation back when they proved that the Russians were behind everything! Not gonna give it a month or so and see if you've gained their trust back?
4. Carrie no longer needed meds, she had learned to do without them by exercising, meditating etc. She could've done that while she was a prisoner but instead the writers forgot they wrote that. I can see her being a bit traumatized, but she's a spy and she had ways to cope without medication. They went overboard with the ending.
Just silly, I try not to nitpick, and suspend disbelief but these are unnecessary mistakes, they could be having just as great episodes without so many of these glaring issues. It's like watching 24, but with that show it wasn't supposed to be believable, it was more of a fantasy. I'll try to do it for next season though haha.
