Fascist Fever Dream

Imagine that Julius Evola suffered a head wound and then decided to write a piece of Magic School Bus fan fiction and you can start to get an idea of just how melted and reactionary this show is. The willful misrepresentation of basic reality (history, economics, sociology, you name it), episode after episode, is staggering. The creators insist that these stories teach lessons that kids won't learn in schools. This is true, but that's because the content is completely divorced from reality. In one episode, for example, the show's mouthpieces time travel to Plymouth to meet the Pilgrims and are told that the reason they were able to survive is that they adopted a more capitalist mindset in order to incentivize themselves to work harder, which they were somehow lacking when they first arrived. Utter brainworms.

The show's creators started from a point of wanting to justify their utterly sociopathic ideology and worked backward from there, regardless of how little sense it makes.
