I binged the first few episodes so now I'm so excited to see the next one this Wednesday. I now want to go back and read the book.
Eleanor is a fantastic character who takes you on her journey as she lives, loves and learns. I love the realism and the way she overcomes and perseveres. I feel that is the legacy she is trying to pass to her children and why she finally decided to share her story that she guarded so carefully. She is watching her children make the same concessions she once made and wants them to draw strength from her lessons learned.
