Not to give too much away, but the movie follows some of the old plotlines of Pet Sematary and Frankenstein. This is not a horror movie, and is more of a psychological drama than anything else. There are some gory scenes, but nothing scary. Unfortunately, the movie is muddled by characters doing things that normal people would never do and bad acting overall. Also, would it kill anybody to hire a medical consultant to make sure that they actually get some of the scientific stuff right? Tons and tons of medical mistakes and garbage. I watched it because it was listed on several top 10 lists of best horror movies of the year, it certainly was not that.
