Terminator: Resistance (2019 Video Game)
6/10
Not a game worthy of the Terminator franchise

Despite being made with Unreal Engine 4, it has very bad looking graphics. There are many games made with Unreal Engine 3 that look much better. The facial animations make the game look like it was released in 2009, not 2019. As for its main story and DLC, the connection between them is ridiculous.

It would have made much more sense to have this DLC playable while playing during the main story. The idea of a DLC that starts from the middle of the game again after finishing the main game doesn't make much sense. On the other hand, the story in general is not very good. There's nothing special about the DLC.

You do almost the same things you did during the main story missions. Some scenes have been added to help us connect more with the main character, but the acting is very bad and the events don't make much sense. The main character and all the other NPCs we encounter are extremely boring and poorly voiced.

The story didn't make me care about any of the people we were fighting to survive together. Then suddenly it killed them all as if I had decided it. There are a lot of people around you, but the game always wants you to be the hero. You're constantly thrown into dangers almost alone, and after a certain point it forces you into stealth.

I don't like stealth mechanics, so this was very tiring. There are two female characters that we can have romantic relationships with and those scenes were pretty mediocre. It would have been better if they weren't added at all. If you're going to censor the whole thing, I don't understand why they even bothered to add a sex scene in the first place. They placed a lot of collectible items around, but you never need more than half of them during the game.

I hated the side quests in the game, they were repetitive content made up to extend the gameplay. Most of them were really annoying. Finally, Terminator: Resistance's weakest point is that it creates the illusion that we have a choice. It's made to look like an RPG, but from beginning to end, the choices don't make any sense. It is completely linear, so it would have been much better if they reflected the story like Call of Duty.

As a result, I think it is an average game. It can only be played if you have free time.
