From the first episode this has the feel of TWD, up until season 6 or 7 anyway.
All the components are there, the story and the characters are on point, and the feeling you get while watching was the same excitement as the original.
Unlike the other spin offs, this has been carefully thought about and written with the general viewer in mind, and not just trying to adhere to the comics, and keep those viewers happy, so it seems to me.
This has produced an excellent show, which I will watch after I have rewatched TWD, unlike the other spin offs, which were OK but forgettable, and didn't feel like TWD, Darryl came close, but being set in France, and the overall feel was it's downfall.
