Ken Loach, of course, provides an incredible and career defining drama as ever, being one of his very best - and a perfect example of his provice even so early in his career.
The actors all do an incredible job, as one would expect from such legendary names, and it is indeed very career defining, very nuanced, emotional and well written. Excellent writing, excellent pacing. Truly the work of a masterful auteur.
The cinematography, cutting and editing is splendid, very much in line with Loach's unique, unconventional and scaled back touch, and very beautifully put together indeed.
Overall, definitely a masterful achievement, and ever recommended for any lover of film!
