Director Guadagnino demonstrates one more time his masterful capacity to tell a complex story of tensions and passions with full enjoyment for the viewer. A rhythmically intense montage and beautiful photography make this movie very engaging and erotic, which draws the viewers into the ups and downs of the leading trio. One may wonder if this will be a hit with mainstream public or it will become a niche cult movie for more sophisticated cinema lovers.
