Where are the laughs?
planktonrules16 January 2022
"Busy Bakers" is a very nice looking cartoon from Looney Tunes...particularly because of the exquisite looking backgrounds. But it's also a cartoon I disliked, as there really were no laughs...none.

The cartoon is set at Swenson's Bakery. It seems business has been bad and he has no customers. But, when a beggar enters the place, nice Swenson gives the man his last baked good. It turns out the beggar is actually a man in disguise (not an elf) and he and his friends decide to help Swenson by baking a ton of goods for him to sell.

There is singing...but no laughs. 'Nuff said.
