Personally it is one of my favorite films and highly recommend it for those who like romantic films.when it released in 1942 it was a great hit.The film was based on Alexandre Dumas (Camille).The costumes and the settings where appropriate and reflected the period the movie was based on (1896).There was a very good chemistry between Laila Mourad and Hussein Sedki and it was felt through out the film.the music and songs where in harmony with the movie.This is one of Togo Mizrahi best directed films.The film also stars Bechara Wakim,Fardoss Muhammad, Zozo Shakib. And if you like this film you might also like Shuhaddaa el Gharam.
