When we are young and begin to flex our muscles, away from mom and dad, we find new guidance, especially in the academic world. Many times we hook up with impressive people, sometimes not. Kimberly gets in with an animal rights group, led by a charismatic young guy. She falls for the cause, but also for him. Soon she does something that could destroy all her future chances. This does a good job of showing how this can happen but doesn't diminish the realities of cruelty to animals. In another plot, an elderly ex-military man is beset with cancer and his efforts are admirable, but the disease has the upper hand.

Stupid again

Warning: Spoilers
Silly show takes itself seriously. Adam is a jerk and Kim is stupid.
She thinks she's a smart college girl, but she's still immature. The animal rights got lost in Adam's ego. Wambaugh is funny , as usual. Smoke bomb stunt just shows how easily Kim was taken in by Adam.
Zach should know by now to stop taking his sister's word as gospel. His character should think for himself more.
