Very well acted, but a little slow.

At Occupier's Risk on paper was the one I was looking forward to most of all, the story sounded great, and the trio of Anthony Bate, Annette Crosbie and Gemma Jones made it sound as if this was going to be the standout episode.

It is good, it's watchable, but it is very, very slow, there are far too many long, drawn out scenes, which halt the pace, and stop you fully getting into it. The story is good, as expected the acting is superb, Gemma Jones in particular is incredibly good, but the pacing is just so slow.

The ending is decent, it has some good moments, and I suppose it explains why the characters behave the way they do, but overall I was a little bit disappointed. 6/10

Slow mover

Warning: Spoilers
AT OCCUPIER'S RISK is the third episode of the short-lived anthology series SHADOWS OF FEAR and it's another slow-mover set in a gloomy, depressing building. This time it's an old, run-down hotel occupied by a mysterious couple. The expected sinister situations and plot twists do play out, but at a snail's pace which saps this episode of enjoyment. Annette Crosbie gives a good performance as the hen-pecked wife and Gemma Jones's sassy lead is another asset.
