Walnut brains (P.S. I hate Poncho)

Warning: Spoilers
One of the weakest episodes in the show, "Mini Whiskers" demonstrates a popularity lesson done better from it's sister episode, "Radio Free Bunny". However, instead of no one liking Whiskers, this one is about how no one wants to be like him. That is, until Poncho comes in, and if he's not one of the weakest one time characters then my name isn't Lily.

Throughout this episode, Poncho is rude to Brandy for giving Whiskers legitimate criticism of how to be a good role model (eating healthy, being polite, etc). No payback either, he's the only thing holding this episode back from the golden score.

...is what I would have said if it wasn't for the godforsaken armpit farting. I don't care if this show wants to be childish, but please, make it plot relevant!

Now onto the goods. Like any episode of this show, the humor is very good. The line delivery in this episode is honestly really well done, giving us lines such as "WHAT DO YOU THINK, WE HAVE BRAINS THE SIZE OF WALNUTS???? Uh, we do. ZIP IT" and "WHY'D YOU DO THAT???" from the talented voice actors in this show. There are also a lot of unintentional gags in this episode, like how weird Ed looks in the one scene he's in for this episode (plus that slap Brandy gives him is hilarious).

Hinted at earlier, Brandy (and Whiskers I guess) are pretty good in this episode. Brandy gets some character development and learns that people can be good role models in more ways than the civil "proper" way that's seen as the golden standard. Whiskers gets a new friend and learns that there are people who want to be like him despite it seeming like there's no one.

Also, for an episode animated by Toon City Animation in season 1, this episode's animation is really fluid as has little to no animation errors. It results in "Radio Free Bunny" having horrible animation however, and I like that episode way more, so it's kind of a 'pick your pill' situation.

8/10.
