The fake death of the librarian was a clever twist. And Camilla Diamond mincing Viagra into the food was truly hilarious.
Joyce is still a little too wimpish for my taste. Now we're at the typical point in a series or film where one person realizes there's something terribly wrong and the other is oblivious. So a natural tension is about to develop between the two characters.
The silver lining in this rather dark cloud is: First we were told "Now remember, Joyce, appearances are everything." BUT LATER ON WE'RE TOLD, "Remember, Joyce, things around here aren't aIways as they seem."
There's a lot of leeway between those two ideas. My guess is the screenwriters are about to ping-pong us back and forth between those two polarities. Let's see . . . .
