I think we are all starting to guess now how the story could end, we may be wrong but how ever it ends it's going to be thrilling, emotional and powerful.

This episode was strong, started off slow but i liked the old routes from the first season (Monster of the Week), then it suddenly turned into a thrilling fundamental leaving Sam and Dean troubled with not only the outcome of their own lives but their lives as brothers.

This season has Chuck written all over it, the biggest brutal antagonism that you once thought was the very thing you knew you could trust....God.

The best episode of the season so far

The story was actually really good; started off as a filler episode, but halfway through.. I wasn't expecting that. They're definitely not holding back this season.

Can't go wrong with your Greatest Hits

Warning: Spoilers
A great episode. We all knew the hunt seemed too predictable and simple. We were in for a big surprise. What a great idea it was to bring back Lilith to the screen. A fitting homage to previous seasons and storylines. Lilith captured our attention from start to finish. First as an innocent victim to a brutal demon. Her interaction with Winchesters was great to watch. Now this is better writing. Almost as if the writers of the show are winking at fans through Chuck. So much has happened in SPN and so many great villains have hit home runs that its great to see them again.

Bring back Abaddon, yellow eyes and so many memorable foes rather than a useless dull addition to the clan such as Mary or Kevin. 8/10

Crazy twist

Warning: Spoilers
I knew something was up with the girl the whole episode but I didn't expect her to be Lilith! That was insane. Also I can't believe that Cas didn't text Sam back, Sam doesn't know what Dean said to Cas he's just trying to make sure he's ok. The whole plot of the episode was really cool. With werewolf guy killing his own brother and all of Sam's dreams, I'm getting scared for this finale.

Ghost pepper jerky

I could watch an entire episode of Dean reacting to eating ghost pepper jerky and Sam reacting to Dean's reaction. As usual, the interaction between the two brothers is always the best part of Supernatural.

Thank god they're not giving us dry monster of the week episodes like they used to . They finally talked about Cas again and the boys found out that Chuck isn't really gone , and yea the equalizer is gone , the only gun that can actually hurt Chuck is destroyed thanks to Lilith (she was a good addition to the episode too) that was a good episode overall , i loved it 10/10

Second ep without...
songod-9500316 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
...distractions! Sad that is what Cas, Rowena, Jack, and all the other side players\sub stories have become over the seasons. I suppose that is how TV goes. The longer a show is on the more "regulars" you get added.

This ep had just Sam and Dean. Like the prior ep, it was back to the days of season one and two; when just the brothers chased down the evil beings. I think Bobby had been introduced, but aside from him there were no others. No huge network of hunters talked about, no Men of Letters, no angels. From the posted reviews, people are welcoming the lack of clutter.

Natch we'll see Cas again... but I am very tired of half power Cas. I do not even recall why he is weak, he got his own grace back ages ago and yet cannot zap to and from places like he used to. Has to be driven! And he is limited in how he can fight, talk to other angels, etc. If Cas comes back I want full on hyped up powerful Cas. The many mistakes Dean blames him for are no doubt because he is not at full power.

"I'm Where I'm Supposed To Be" (15x05)
Sam_Ash_7616 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This episode has a lot to love inside of it, from the solid werewolf storyline to the great dialogue between Dean and 'Ashley'. Werewolves haven't always been big favorite episodes of mine, as I've also found them to be kind of dull and not really scary... more annoying than anything. However, this episode is probably the show's best use of them since "Heart" from season 2.

I'm still not a big fan of how enemies seem to be able to defeat the boys so easily, for example, last week with the family of vampires, that situation was easy to get out of... Perhaps the boys believe that the situations that they're in aren't interesting enough for them to permanently die (Chuck wouldn't allow them to die like this). Lilith mentions that the werewolf brothers have to die like this to 'foreshadow' whats to come for the Winchesters... however, it still feels like a situation that could've been avoided when it came to Sammy getting held at gunpoint.

I am so happy that they've brought back Lilith, although... I remember from Season 13 being told that God couldn't interact with the empty, so how did he do this? Well... writers lie I guess. Her reveal scene was completely out of nowhere and was not expected at all... fantastic writing especially for that scene... regardless of the retcon...

I'm impressed that with each of the latest three episodes, the writers have been making what could be seen as filler "Monster Of The Week" content into actual important development for our characters. I'm extremely excited to see what new ancient foes are coming back.. especially if Lilith is back into the playing cards. A villain I never thought we'd see again, even in this final batch of episodes. I'm still crossing my fingers for Azazel to make his way back into the show, I want to see that son die twice.

Another note, I absolutely adore the "Alternate Endings" stuff that Sam seems to be seeing for the end of "Supernatural". It's a really fun way to bring back elements of past seasons, like the Mark of Cain, and make them relevant again in a new way. Extraordinary work on this front.

POSITIVES:
  • Fantastic Lilith reveal
  • Great use of "Monster Of The Week Content"
  • Great dialogue between Dean and 'Ashley' (AKA Lilith)
  • Good direction, and stunt work
  • Good ending "How are we supposed to fight God?"

NEGATIVES:
  • Slow build up could've been a bit faster regarding Lilith
  • Retcon of the empty was a little bit frustrating
  • Castiel needs to come back soon (thankfully, he seems to be in the next episode), this drama needs to stop eventually

Score: 8.5/10 (Great)

This is the best episode of the season so far. I originally thought it was going to be a monster of the week episode, so I was very surprised when Lilith returned.

Took a turn

Starts of as a typical below average motw and then spices up real fast. I have to say though the scene in which it burns... The music... Odd choice... You would think they would want a horror atmosphere not a sci-fi one.
