The first movie Animation produced entirely Saudi-Egyptian, this film has been expected for years
One of the most interesting and beautiful things about the film is that it has a lot of big Egyptian stars, all very good, like Saeed Saleh, Amina Rizk and Abd al-Rahman Abu Zahra His role was great, no less creative than Scar's in The Lion King and of course the rest of the cast Their role was very beautiful like Abla Kamel, Mohamed Henedy, Majed al-Kadwani, Ghassan Matar, Medhat Saleh and Donia Samir Ghanem
But the best things in the movie are songs, especially "the polar star" song Midhat Saleh and Donia Samir Ghanem together, and certainly the song of the priest, Abd al-Rahman Abu Zahra
However, the story is unfortunately not epic or strong, especially the romantic aspect of the film, and the cartoons are very primitive and very blurry in the sea and fire and the characters not very nice especially 3D Characters
And of course, the poster, which is very clear, is not very sweet. One of the downsides of the film is that all of the characters speak Arabic, except Mohammed Hindi and Majid Kadwani speak in the vernacular
But this is the first experience of an Egyptian animated film, and for the first time it's very acceptable, but it's happening again and again and again.

Adventure & Aspiration
amegoz15 December 2020
This Movie applied non-modernized animation technology compared to recent animated shows yet seems to be good.
The story of the movie is associated with Islamic aspiration which reflect excellent values on today's society.
Looking for further stories and similar adventure by movie makers to adopt great and rich History with the right core values

Egypt's First Full-Length Animated Film (with a Warrior Princess!)
BabelAlexandria23 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I was so excited to see that the first Egyptian animated feature had been dubbed in English and was available on Netflix! My kiddos (7 and 9) and I all enjoyed it, and I especially appreciated the effort at historical epic, which is fairly rare in animation. The hero, a young fighter from 7th-century Basra, crosses the Indian Ocean to rescue a princess and her associates who are kidnapped by the evil king Daher (presumably of Sindh/Pakistan); he must contend with the king's sorcerer Gandar (for Gandhara?), who seems to be an exoticized/demonized ritual specialist associated with a vaguely Hindu deity. The movie features a nice combination of action and humor, with Gandar's two shape-shifting demons acting like Genie and Mushu; and, in the final battle with Dahe and his army, the princess joins the fray, much like the traditions about warrior princesses of the Rashidun caliphate.
The voice actors

The voice over is truly remarkable, a timeless treasure that resonates with the echoes of our childhood. It has a magical quality that transcends time, bringing back memories that have been etched into our minds for centuries. Every time I hear those voices, I can't help but feel a rush of nostalgia, as if I'm transported back to a simpler time, filled with innocence and wonder.
What makes these voices so special is not just their familiarity, but also the incredible talent behind them. The voice actors have a unique ability to capture the essence of each character, bringing them to life with such authenticity and charm. Their voices are not just voices; they are the embodiment of our favorite characters, the ones we grew up with and cherished.
One of the things I love most about these voices is their sarcasm. It's a kind of sarcasm that is witty and clever, yet endearing at the same time. It adds a layer of depth to the characters, making them more relatable and human. When I hear that sarcasm, I can't help but smile, knowing that it's a nod to the humor and wit that defined our childhood.
Overall, the voice over is a masterpiece, a testament to the power of storytelling and the impact it can have on our lives. It's a reminder of the joy and wonder of childhood, and the magic of imagination. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to experience it again, and I know that it will continue to bring me joy for many more centuries to come.
