Clear case of abuse in a care home.
star_boy_the_best18 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
They abused and feed of this old lady's paranoia dementia. Instead of helping her and treat her like a old person who was mentally challenged and is not seeing things clearly, they treat her like the devil, refused to feed, wash and look after her. Clear case of neglect and poor training at the work place. That's what happens when you have a bunch of church goers looking after mentally unstable people. They'll think everything good is God and everything bad is the devil. People with the late stages of dementia could have hallucinations and violent behaviour. Everything they experience as paranormal can be easily explained. * Old lady behaviour - late stages of dementia * Cold in her room - broken or defective thermostat * The lady that felt a snake on her back and ended up with scratches - a drop of sweat going down her spine and she scratched herself trying to take her shirt off * The lady that was bleeding from the chest - care home staff often have stuff pinned to their chest, name tag, clocks, brooches ( She stabbed herself ) * When old lady floated above bed - probably when they finally decided to end her life and put a pillow over her head as people pinned her body against the bed after they killed her and let go of her body she raised up because of the air mattress that she was on, the pump was over compensating because of the extra weight and moved her dead body up looking as levitation in the eyes of the church goers They all should be ashamed and shame on Netflix for promoting this garbage.

3 Dead = No problem

Warning: Spoilers
This one was pretty Interesting, but I find it Unbelievable that it took 1 exorcism, 1 levitation and 3 dead people, to realize that the room was evil. Why wasn't Jackie sent to the hospital after a few days of malnourishment, much less weeks? Why was Jackie allowed to stay, if she didn't have the required diagnosis; dementia? Sounds like these women were more interested in the money than the evil in that room. Betcha they charge for burial services, too.

"Real" stories... yeh right
kgribz6 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
"I had scratches all over my back" "I looked like I'd been stabbed with an ice pick". Righto love, let's see the scars then... C'mon Netflix, just call it fiction rather than pretend they're real stories.

What in the heck?!
jeremy-david-kuehnau25 October 2019
What in the bloody hell was up with this episode? I can't be the only one thinking these fat, middle aged house wives have been taking some sort of crazy pills, right?

They spend most of the episode demonizing a patient under their care, which is already bad enough. But then they go off on a tangent talking about she hadn't eaten, drank or urinated in weeks?! REALLY?

What the hell was that true story statement before the beginning of this episode? Because all I saw was some old fat women trying to justify the abuse of a patient and then making up some sort malarkey about them being possesed by a demon.

Good lord what a mess!

Somewhat Entertaining

Ripped right out of the movie "The Exorcist", there are no surprises in this episode. Sadly, since this was a "docu-series", I thought that this would be real life ghostly type encounters. I was mistaken...this is scripted actors and non-believable events that aren't even new material. I would give this a big pass.

Not believable at all
nyiri-timea17 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
So Netflix really thinks, people should believe that it's a true story. Well, I really don't believe that in America if a resident in a nursing home stops eating, drinking and urinating for weeks, they just let them suffer, and never bring them to a hospital. Or if a resident of a nursing home starts attacking the employees, they would still do nothing, don't ask for psychological help, or give them tranquilizers or something, no, they just let them rampage. Yah, not that believable.

Wipe your nose!

That annoying witch who kept sniffing was really cringeworthy. And the overall episode was ridiculous. I genuinely enjoyed the first season, and thought some episodes were very scary, but two episodes in, I find this second year laughably bad and boring. I'm probably not watching the rest.

Fake

Warning: Spoilers
I have lived in Spencer, NY and so has my family. I've asked around and no one has heard about this woman or her so called experience. I am so disappointed in this show. This show just seems like a bunch of people looking to tell campfire stories to gullible kids.
