I'm still not a fan of Kim Kardashian's acting. I really hope they don't bring her back. It was an ok episode. The gaslighting of emma roberts's character is kind of frustrating. And it seems like everyone is overeacting. But overall I can't get past Kim Kardashian's acting. I really believe it's destroying the overall storyline. I understand that the subject is based off of a book However I do not think it's an american horror story. The show needs to return to its origins. This is just not working. I will finish out the rest of the need to get back to some serious early season type of material. And stop casting people that cannot act.

6 episodes wasn't enough it seems to take off

To be honest, after a half year of waiting I'm kinda disappointed. I was like this: if AHS (which I like a lot) wants to save this season, or cares even a bit: S12E06 is a now or never.
The saving did not happen, in my opinion, which is very sad.
I got to say it straight: if a show is wasting more than half of a season to make an epic conclusion in the last 2-3 episodes: the outcome will be flat. Period.
Not the first time, not the last. Shows have been cancelled for stalling a lot of times; so I don't get the reason behind this now AHS.
To make things worse, this is an anthology. The next season will be (if there ever will be) something totally different, with little to no ties to this season.
So no second chances to redeem. If this goes fubar now: it stays that way.
Obviously, I will stay until the end. The S1-3-8 connection was the best thing that I saw from AHS till now. I had high hopes, that it would continue with S12. Seemingly that's not the case, not until now at least.

Artistic mid-seasson opening, but somewhat repetitive and redundant

THE NEGATIVES
There was too much filler in this episode. It seemed like the writers conjured up some primary pointers and filled up the rest with mostly insignificant dialogues. For example, Dex' talk with his father did not add anything significant to the plot - except that Dex' father is indeed as least as awful as his wife had postulated. Furthermore, the black cat, the voodoo barbie dolls, and the woman Anna hallucinates have already been dealt with before - bringing these back did not help progress the storyline much further - even if they did add to the tension and eeriness. Another thing that keeps frustrating me is THAT ANNA JUST WON'T TALK TO PREACHER. She has been through the process. If only Preacher had just approached Anna more forcefully, this whole Antichrist livestock situation of Anna's may have been prevented. Perhaps that is why such a number of the characters are so clueless - then they can't notice what is going on right under their noses.
THE POSITIVES The revelation of the members of the Satanic with cult was done very creatively at the gallery - especially when the camera zoomed in into Sonia's horrific baby placenta blood painting, a scene that seemed to have come straight from hell. Siobhan, as always, was shady as hell about most everything, but her cunningness always manages to convince Anna that she has her best wishes at heart - she is really ruthless and a great addition to the story. Apart from some redundancies, the cohesion of the plot sequences is definitely better compared to previous episodes; it is much more 'centered' around Anna (pun intended). So, there is more dreadful and consistent suspense and an eerie ambiance that is enhanced by disturbing imagery: the baby clawing/crawling? Its way out, the goats by the pool, magma seeming to trickle from Sonia's painting, etc. Still, more progress could have been made if some dialogues had been removed or shortened, especially the dissent between Anna and Talia.

This Episode begins with Anna, she reads that Babette died in a car crash. Anna gives a speech at Babette's funeral. Anna is swimming at the pool. Anna's baby is doing weird things in the belly. Anna is going the the opening night of Dex his gallery exposition. Anna tells Siobhan that she wants to stop with acting work for now. Siobhan slaps Anna in her face because she wants to stop with the business. Hamish died, it is probably suicide. Dex found his mothe Virginia in the bath tub, she died. Solid Episode of American Horror Story Season 12, really Solid. Great acting from Emma and Kim again!
Going from bad to worse

Some seasons should not be made. This is one of them. Stalling stalling stalling. I can't believe the amazing seasons we had in the past, and then this. I guess it is a form of art to make so many episodes where NOTHING happens
Also, Anna is wearing makeup that somehow cannot cover the red spot in her face. Her baby has claws but does not see a doctor, nor does ber husband see the marks. I can't even....
Why why why. I will continue to watch it because sadly, I need to see it through. But it is the worst season, cast of AHS. And I know peoole say Kim is a good actress, but come one, she is playing the role she does daily. Nothing new there.

Already 6 eps but still nothing happen at all, this the most boring & lame in ahs history so far, i though roanoke & double feature kinda bad, but this one is the winner, and the cast? Really i dont even know almost entire name in the opening credit, feel so cheap & beyond terrible, hope show get better in the next season since i dont have any hope in this one anymore.

Wowwww I loved the pacing on this one, I wish that the pacing was better for pt.1 but it gave good background. I loved the cinematography of this episode from the pool scene and the art gallery it was amazing. I loved Emma's acting because it really makes me feel like I'm going crazy and feeling her pain. I love the shadiness and unknowning of all of the people behind the masks and I'm loving how Anna is slowly realizing what is going around. Kim K did exactly what she was supposed to do and it is so iconic. Can't wait for the backstory of the cult and dex and things! Overall 10/10 would definitely watch again. Even Sarah Paulson is a fan of this season!
Drip, drip drip wanna be Rosemary's Baby

I get it. There was a writers strike..BUT THIS?! It's just a wanna be Rosemary's Baby with modern CGI. Such a spoon fed story. Maybe dump the boring Kar-TRASH-ian too. This story line was about as interesting as watching a broken faucet drip. The clothes are even boring. Who scored this season? Everything about this season just falls flat. What was the network thinking? Hurry ? It's just crap and the series deserved better. Is this what we can expect from AHC? A slooooow and boring crybaby death with each upcoming episode? Is this a joke? I guess it created a few jobs but altruistic it is not. It gives nothing.
