Bokuto makes this entertaining

It's an OVA so you can't expect too much. Obviously there's a minor downgrade in animation. There's no storyline really, so don't expect to get immersed into Nekoma's team like you did for Karasuno. We do get to see a bit of back story from the Nekoma players. The best part is like I said in the title. Bokuto. Period.

I translated the review into English, I hope you ignore the mistakes. :)

ova Haikyuu Focusing on the rest of Nekoma's matches to qualify for the national championship, we saw a beautiful addition of some characters, which may have become closer to my heart after increasing the depth of writing, the two episodes were almost at the same level, there is a nice development in the character of the tall and novice Lev, he is able to play Harmonious with the team after realizing that everything in the game is connected to the team, Morisuke Yaku also has a great influence on the team and has a very attractive and fun personality. As for the production, it was good, the animation was good, at times it got better, and the soundtrack was also good.

I never felt like I had enough, I think there was a lot to offer to Nikoma from other stories and situations, I wanted more because I am very interested in other schools like Nikoma, so why not see more seriousness in writing events!?.

But that doesn't mean Ova was bad, You will enjoy as much as I did. If you love Haikyuu a lot and are interested in other teams, especially Nekoma, you should watch the OVA.
