Episode #1.3

This show is really something. While this episode didn't quite reach the comedic genius of the previous it still had many amazing one liners. There was a surprising lack of community service in this episode. But it was far more suspenseful and included far more character building than previous ones so that was great. The only character who was almost left out was Frank. He had only a few lines though he did crack a couple brilliant jokes. The fact I have to wait an entire week to watch the next part kills me.

Episode 3

The show got back on track here with an episode that had a lot of amusing moments, but was also quite high on drama. This is different from most Stephen Merchant shows, but entertaining in its own way.

Loving this.

Episode 3, and a different feel to the previous 2. This time there is a lot more drama and thought provoking situations rather than the comedy approach. That is not to say that there isn't comedy in this, it is just a little more subtle. There are various "references" that you know are issues in reality that are slipped into the script. All I can say is, I really look forward to the next instalment with this programme. Really well written, and brought to life with some good actors. Love it!

Episode 3

While episode 2 showed an improvement. The third episode left me with an inkling that this will be an uneven comedy drama.

The episode focusses on Myrna's lifelong obsession on campaigning on social justice issues. It has left her with not too many friends.

John is at risk of getting sued for using too much force on a burglar he caught and beat up. He is looking to sell his father's company.

Both Myrna and John need to decide whether to share the money they found. This is something Frank wants to do but they are unsure.

There was a lot less comedy and the result was the whole thing just dragged even though most of the character's had something to do.

The first two episodes were decent. This one went woke and focusing on too much stupid stuff. It gets old having to watch directors and producers insert this liberal ridiculousness slowly into everything to justify their own fear tactics. Sometimes make believe and a narcissists actions try to shape real life. However at the days end, this is still just unintelligible people making unintelligible things to watch for the sake of gain off the misinformed people.
