I never usually watch this music awards show, one of the biggest (possibly just after the Grammys), but for once I thought why not, both because of the hosts, and the choice of great artists and songs in the previous year. Hosted by The Osbournes: Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly and Jack, and Fern Cotton backstage talking to some of the singers, this show broadcast live from London, Earl's Court presented awards for live music, albums, new acts, British/international groups, British solo male/female artists and single of the year. But it also included performances from some of the nominated artists, including: Mika with "Love Today" and #1 "Grace Kelly", Beth Ditto (with Mika) with "Standing In The Way of Control", Rihanna and Klaxons with #1 "Umbrella", Kylie Minogue with "Wow", Kaiser Chiefs with #1 "Ruby", Leona Lewis with #1 "Bleeding Love"; Mark Ronson feat. Adele, feat. Daniel Merriweather for "Stop Me" and feat. (drunk) Amy Winehouse for "Valerie", Winehouse with "Love Is A Losing Game" and Sir Paul McCartney with "Dance Tonight", "Live and Let Die" and #1 "Hey Jude". With awards presented and received by Chris Moyles, Take That, Will Young, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Kelly Rowland, Kanye West, David Tennant, Denise Van Outen, Lord Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl, James Nesbitt, Kate Nash, Michelle Ryan, Sir Ian McKellen, Arctic Monkeys, Alan Carr and Vic Reeves, and also starring Louis Walsh and Shayne Ward. Very good!
