Miracle Workers: Dark Ages is a show that has had its highs and its lows, just like any comedy on TV right now. This episode really summed that up. There were some scenes that absolutely worked, and some scenes that did not.
I wish we got more development from the King here. Unfortunately we never got much personality, we got nothing but stern jokes throughout. I feel like there was a lot of depth there and avenues they could explore, but the show never seemed to want to go there.
A funny episode to set up the finale, and I am really hoping that it ends on a quality note. I keep wanting to love Miracle Workers: Dark Ages, but right now I am just liking it.
