Why has it been cancelled?!?
schroeder_muenchen29 September 2023
I really like the concept as we all have movies, that inspired us or drove us to the point to even look up movies at IMDb.

To hear people you admire talk about their favorites is fun and Ian has a pleasant voice. I also like the style of his interviews.

I need to deduct one star for the lack of a third season and another one, because the episodes I was listening to started with promotion.

I know that most interviews are held in times, when the "stars" are on promotion tour, but I would like the podcast a bit more if it wouldn't feel like promotion.

Over all very well done.

I will try some other IMDb originals now.

Thanks.

Great podcast and discussion with people in movies
alexandreie4 October 2023
I really like the concept that movies resonate with you and we are impacted by the story they bring in a way or another.

You hear people who created movies, executed them and you learn more about what they wanted to put in and to communicate to you. Sometimes you really feel it as they expressed it and sometimes you realise that you missed something in the movie or you didn't interpret in the same way it was thought for.

The podcast helps you to make this self evaluation. Did I get what they intended to communicate or did I understand it differently? Simple but make you remember key parts of the movies you've seen and liked.

Really brilliant!

Great names, amazing concept

Love the idea for this! Can't wait to listen to them all. I am most looking forward to Felicia Day!

I would love to see more of this with other genres as well. Athletes talking about their most memorable games; writers talking about books that influenced them.

We are all influenced by the experiences of our lives and it really gives a lot of insight into our favorite professionals to understand the things that have got them to where they are today.

I like Ians style, he has a good way of connecting with the presenters. I also commend the choice of guests so far, so many great names to connect with.

Love this Idea

I think many times it is not thought how movies influence people life decisions. I think this should be an idea for every area. What life changing decision happens in someones life based off the results of another interaction.

These are very addicting, and I love the fact that they are done within the podcast setting. This allows to listen on free time and potentially contemplate during silent times of one day. For myself it is while im sitting in traffic.

What is the future of this podcast? Will it be available across more platforms? This is a great start. I look forward to seeing the new castings. Thank you for this.

I loved the podcast and topic that was being discussed
ailatanwm4 October 2023
Loved the fact that he realized, months later, that there was something else to do with the Fast and Furious movies, and that he got inspired by the public that was stopping him to talk about the F&F movies.

Would love to see some new episodes and see if things have changed since the initial creation of this podcast.

Is nice hearing about how the movies are created and the impact they had on people. Also about struggles and trials that they had to go through when making the movies.

I've seen the Fast and Furious movies almost a hundred times, but I never get tired of them, I kinda always find something new every time I watch them.

Movies that changed my life
danne-957145 October 2023
I enjoyed this listen as well as the idea of a movie changing a life.

As a 90s kid so many great movies from the 80s and 90s impacted my want for adventure and wonder. I think even the best movies have their key parts and parts we all wish were slightly different. I think we all get so wrapped up in movies at times we wish we had the power to change to direction of the movie or change the decisions made by the characters Thanks for taking the time to making this content and stirring my thoughts!

I look forward to more content from this channel. Dont wait to long to continuously update with more episodes!

An exceptional podcast featuring captivating conversations with individuals deeply involved in the world of cinema.

I find it truly intriguing how films can leave such a profound mark on us, with each one resonating in its unique way. This podcast offers a remarkable opportunity to delve into the minds of those responsible for bringing these cinematic creations to life. It provides an exclusive glimpse into their intentions and the messages they aimed to convey through their work. Sometimes, their insights align seamlessly with my own interpretations, while on other occasions, they reveal entirely new perspectives I had overlooked.

This podcast serves as a thought-provoking journey of self-discovery. It prompts me to question whether I truly comprehended the intended messages or if my understanding veered in a different direction. This process allows me to revisit and appreciate the pivotal moments in the films I hold dear.

Fantastic podcast
jgolick4 October 2023
I love hearing about how the movies are created and the impact on people. It was great to hear about struggles and trials that they had to go through. After listening to this, it starts to bring up memories of my favorite movies and how they have "altered" my life. Simple things as Austin Powers quotes to "Hey you guys" from the Goonies all the way to "you're killing me smalls" from the Sandlot. Never really thought about that way but I still use those movie quotes to this day.

I have already listened to a few episodes and I am hooked. Looking forward to listening to all of them.

Would love to see some new episodes and see if things have changed since the initial creation of this podcast.
