A wild episode here. Marty screwing the woman over was something I did not see coming, but that was the key moment of the show for so long. We thought he was free of Ike's spell, but not even close.

People [t's not a comedy, its a True Story and if i was Marty, Dr. Ike would be somewhere not on this Planet.
People say Ike would have been kicked out, well YES if he was found out. People live in cults for many years, People give thousands to strangers online cause they are lonely Marty must be a very forgiving person in real life, cause I would not have been. His fear of losing his best friend his beating heart, turned him into a lowlife piece of poo
I really do hope Ike gets what he deserves and very soon.
This last few episodes are becoming a hard watch, a very hard watch.

Some of the ethics rules in NYS exist the way they do. There are very specific ethics around therapy and most of them come out of bad dudes. In order for a psychiatrist, which is an actual MD, or psychologist, psychotherapist or clinical social worker actually gets held accountable for violating an ethics or professional standards SOMEONE HAS TO COMPLAIN!!
It's important even in if it is puffed up for TV to pay attention to your intuition with any provider in the helping profession. This story is a well rounded cautionary tale that made me both sad and angry that people like Dr Ike still exist give the healing helping profession a bad name.

The show is getting much better now, it's still not funny but it's really making up for it in the characters and story of everything. I feel like this point could've easily been reached way faster but I'm glad it's finally becoming good.
It goes onto the realm of the absurd
