- The serial killer is an extremely unsettling antagonist. Although most of his murders aren't shown, the way that he goes about them is very disturbing; he is seen hanging up pictures of the dead bodies on a wall covered in blood with smiley faces in the blood.

- A man gets suddenly stabbed in the stomach. He stabs his attacker but is unable to fight him off as his palms are sliced and he is stabbed numerous times in the torso with blood spraying onto his killer's face. He is then stabbed several times in the back and killed.
- The serial killer badly mutilates the protagonist, stabbing him in the hand, stomach and slicing his fingers open.
- The protagonist's pregnant wife is stabbed in the side by the killer. She survives but this is very intense.
- The protagonist overpowers the serial killer, slicing his face and stabbing him once in the chest with blood spray; he gets ready to stab him again but is shot by a detective. It seems that both of them have died but they both survive.
