It's terrible when you can predict the outcome of a series.
poseidon-thoughts2 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Ah well it sucks when you know what is going to happen. I knew from the beginning when seeing the speedforce that she was going to be the bad guy, but unfortunatly they can't kill the speedforce, so how do they fix this? They use a typical Flash series move and once again talk it all out.

They just couldn't have made one of the forces a bit more evil? They could have made up something about one of the forces being born from evil and that they had to all work together in order to contain and overcome it but no..... they had to put dark eye shadow on the speedforce and make it a family thing.

They are just slowly letting the original cast go and that is ruining the show for me. Ralph and now Cisco, next its gonna be Snow. I think it would be for the best if they just ended the show with his daughter Nora being born.

Meh better then the first part but not great Warning: Spoilers
So I gave last weeks episode 2 as it sucked bad.

This one was better in general but not great as it used to be.

The villains just suck. For me the last good villain was Savitar. Last 2 seasons have the worst bad guys.

Wells and his versions are gone and it feels cause he was an important character. Cisco is just stuck there, like he isnt interested since he gave up his powers.

And in general it feels like most of the actors are tired and bored.

Better to wrap it up this season. Seasons 1-3 were great then we had 2 ok and the last 2 are mostly bad.

Lock Barry and Iris up in a remote island!
cjonesas7 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Episode 11: Lame, childish, too childish, horribly childish with too much love, emotions and music and too few realistic, dark, real superhero / villain stuff.

Why isn´t this show called "The Iris"?
Sandorman_Sedric25 May 2021
I mean, Iris West-Allen-West has always the perfect plan, makes no mistakes at all, knows everything (even the stuff only Cisco and the other tech guys understand), never doubts herself in any way...

What comes next? Let´s make a crossover with the SnyderVerse, where Iris meets the Justice League and she persuades them to give her all their powers. And then she becomes so powerful that she wipes out (like Marvel´s Thanos) half of the population, who are of course all Trump supporters and other conservatives (because every comic related show has to get political now - see Batwoman, Falcon/Winter Soldier...).

And in a desperate move Barry Allen teams up with Black Mask to get the Snakebite Drug to escape the perfect reality of his wife. By that the Flash humiliates himself more and more in public and evantually gets kicked out of Central City and the city is renamed into "Iris City"...

I am sure, there are a lot of folks out there who love to watch rubbish like that.

It's good but I believe it'll get better as the season continues
atjoseph7 June 2021
I think the episode was pretty good I love the fight I wish it was longer and I understand love is to define the emotions barry has for the people in his life but I feel we Don focus on him to much like I want to watch barry grow more as a leader and the hero his comic book counterpart is and with Cisco leaving I do want him to be more focus on leading and learning to handle things on his own without much backup. Like I'm ok with him having backup but not for him to relay on. And his much faster now i hope his speed is used right and im not saying this to bag on the show I love the show and I love Eric Wallace ideas I like that he's going with more modern villians but I just think the flash needs more action which I do believe the second half of season 7 will I have high faith in the show that it'll deliver big time.

It's seen better days
stevesewell-0515526 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I don't normally write reviews but this had be one of the worst episodes so far the show has lost its magic.

First of the whole forces arc was cringy as hell it's like the writers are lazy because the flash has a huge fan base so they don't care anymore same thing happened to arrow, however I feel sorry for the actors having to say cringy lines.

I do feel like the show has become more about Team flash than the flash and I get he has a support network of friends but if these characters are going to have story arcs make them interesting and not the focal point of the show, it's needs to go back to season one level of story telling we need the tension not the ABC kind of network show this has become.

The Flash comic source material has far better storylines why don't the writers star adapting these storylines instead of the lame "family" drama stuff.

The show was better when it was Barry, Kaitlyn,Cisco and Wells. Too many characters stretching the show in the wrong direction. If they want these types of storylines sell the show to ABC or some other family friendly network!

More flash powers please?
mariakamitsi1 June 2021
Flash was and is my favourite hero, but I think that they lost the meaning of it. The scene in the speedforce remind me the good old times, discovering the powers and the limits of the flash.. Now is more, emotional which is not bad but its a superhero serie.. We need more of that, powers, also better villains, I hope they will put more effort in the next episodes,

Much love from Greece Maria ❤

What even is this
berndschuller26 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I've never rated a Flash episode lower than "5", since even at its worst (like "Girls Night Out" or "Run Iris Run") the show had pretty high standards. Not to take anything away from the cast and the people like directors, camera, set design, make up, visuals etc they are all doing a great job. But: The writing in the whole first half of season 7 is so atrocious it's even hard to rant about it. Forces as Barry&Iris "children" who they "birthed"? Why? That's just garbage, only to "set up" their actual (future) children later this season? Everything about this is wrong, only inserted to "feature" iris and her being married to Barry, a relationship that is very lackluster and has no warmth and chemistry whatsoever. They want to make it about "family" and "love" but this totally backfires.

The Frost arc was resolved as well, with the off-screen(!) help of the Flash (so NOW he is a character witness, but not at the trial?). The Frost and Caitlin scenes were some of the few enjoyable things so far this season.

I still hope the writers have better luck with the second half of the season, but I'm not very optimistic.

Actor who plays Bashir Esmer 👍👍
OCDebra8 June 2021
Ennis portrayed billionaire criminal mastermind turned FBI consultant 'Rich Dotcom' on NBC's hit series Blindspot (2015). He can also be seen as 'Dave Amari' on DirecTV's You Me Her (2016) and as 'Kurtis Mazhari' on Global's Private Eyes (2016).

Up and down like a pendulum we go with this show.
ldamena26 May 2021
Love how so many reviews on here are bashing Iris when she's not the problem at all: it's the writing. I guess some just can't take when a woman is equal to her hero husband. Anyway, better than last week and I appreciated that it both felt like a finale and finally ended the forces story. It can only get better from here? Right? With these awful writers I don't know anymore.

I don't know what I watched
JustPokie26 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I didn't have much hope for the cliffhanger from last episode and this is why. Why do something if you aren't going to stick with it? The episode was confusing, one minute they believe the forces are the big bads, but they then work with the forces right after. The big cgi fight was not the best. Speedforce nora being taken out by visions of being alone? Isn't the speedforce a we? The bro and sis thing still weirded me out since they are grown adults. Anyways that is the end of that episode I really season 7B is better than the forces arc.

Sorry I didn't put effort in this because the writers don't put effort in their show so why should I put effort in my review.

An Ok ending to and Ok story
lukewharris-1333525 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This first story has been, well, weird to say the least. I loved the character development of Dion in this episode, Frost returning was an interesting move. I really hope they find something for Joe to do, since he can't just be sitting in the Star Labs lounge for the rest of the season.

The final fight was pretty well done, and they really set up Godspeed well for later this season. Next episode will see Cisco leaving which is quite upsetting, but hopefully it will work in the show's favor since it suffers from a bloated cast.

Love the way they handled the speedforce, too. I just think it came off weird with the whole "mother daughter family" thing cause it's kinda cringe...

Overall, one of the weaker storylines but hopefully its leading to brighter pastures for the show, next few episodes will finally get to introduce us to the real godspeed!

Stay safe Flash fans,

Luke.

Family.
wetmars28 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Suddenly, they disappeared but, they did not. It was all an illusion! All thanks to Psych. Aye, give him so credit, Alexa. He saved your lives. Somehow, a storm broke out a couple of metahumans out of prison, a big mistake. Even when it comes to West putting his badge away. After this, Cecile gets hurt. Barry brings the Team to the Speed Force. Hah, I love how Psych is already relaxing. I love that guy. Speaking about Nora, she's a god damn Goth now. It is not looking too well at Central City since there are 120+ mph winds, yikes. AND KILLER FROST RETURNS! YEAH! She "breaks out" to get the meta-humans back to their cell. )) Did that dude seriously gave out a proposal to her? What a weirdo. "You're staring at a 6-pack." Just stop it, already for god's sake. "Wow, isn't this great?" I agree, Psych. Oooo, Psych is telepathic without his mask. Barry becomes to meet Deon at the Football Stadium. We're not done with him. Discussion failed, too overdramatic for my taste. "And that makes you an old man feeling bad for yourself." lel. I'm starting to like Allegra now. Back to the Speed Force, I didn't even realize that the lightning's black. Interesting. This family stuff going on is getting tiring for goodness sake. Deon teams up with Barry, nice! I wouldn't be surprised if he joins Team Flash. It is revealed that Nora isn't doing all of this. It's the other forces that are doing it. "We're fighting the forces of the Universe itself." Oh, boy. Yet, we're back for Frost. The dude needs to put a shirt on. Yet, we got another motivational speech done by West. I love that guy. Psych and Alexa visit Star Labs. Then they visit Nora as well with Deon. Now, Nora has black eyes. That is not menacing at all, just a poor attempt. She uses her lightning powers and makes them disappear. "Where the hell are we?" I'm wondering that, too. Not gonna lie but, the CGI Fight Scene was awful. It looked so fake. Some kind of tornado forms in Central City. Now, Barry has two minutes to save Central City before the forces snap. Nora shows up once again. Again, I am loving this telepathic conversation going on, and Nora is like "What's going on? What are you hiding from me?" Lol. It is revealed that Nora's greatest fear is being all alone. Nora's eyes finally revert to normal completing her redemption arc. Nora, Alexa, Psych, and Deon helps out Barry to save Central City. Teamwork! Back to the Speed Force. Nora, Chester, Alexa, and Psych claim the Speed Force as their home. It feels like the Season's ending, but it isn't. Back to Star Labs, Cecile recovers from her coma. I guess Frost is back in town, speaking about Frost admitting that she has a crush on that meta-human guy. That felt out of place but, whatever.

Thoughts? It was an alright episode. It feels like a finale after all. Psych and West were the highlights for me. Nice dialogue over there and there. I would have loved to see Nora's menace but whatever. Again, it's a CW show. Next, it will be Cisco's departure. As much I love him, I hope the departure will have some of that emotional aspect that executes well.

Maybe a 7/10?

We want action
egekanpolat26 May 2021
Please stop with all the talking and emotional stuff and give us some more action. Also, we need better villains. Like Reverse-Flash, Zoom and even Cicada was good compared to the past 2 seasons three villains. Bloodwork was a let down because of how less he was present, Mirror Master was boring and didn't really have a motivation and we didn't really have a villain for this first part. I really hope Godspeed will be a good villain.

Dear God make it stop
xaos2327 May 2021
Next season HAS to be the last unless you find new writers. I can't imagine the remaining actors wanting to stick around too much longer as the series continues to fade into a shadow of its' former glory.

That one part near the end when they were fighting Nora in that tunnel thing had me rolling on the floor. The way this show has shifted into a comedy without noticing is amazing.

Insane end to a weird story
eapuhala26 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Wow. Alright, lemme break it down. This current story of the flash ended in the craziest way possible, which ended with the flash preventing a Big Bang, the forces fighting in the speed force, and potentially the inception of the tornado twins. And I loved it. This storyline has been weird and divisive and there's no hiding that, even in the reviews I read hear there doesn't seem to be a consensus. But for me, while this hasn't been the worst storyline (seasons 4/5 still suck) this doesn't match the best this show had to offer (seasons 1, 2, 6a). This episode though did everything right. Save for the family stuff which is still weird, this episode leaned into the over-the-top crazy comic book stuff that I want from a over-the-top crazy story like this. The dead speedforce, a fight in the actual speedforce between the arrowverse equivalent of gods, and a finale with Barry preventing a Big Bang. Btw the CG this ep kinda rocked. Not gonna go into detail cause I want to watch Superman and Lois (couldn't earlier because basketball, fun) but this was the type of madness I wanted. Oh and also frost got out and chillblaine got his costume. That was pretty cool.

Feel bad for the actors and direction
juanmaprior26 May 2021
Wtf is going on with the writers??? Even a monkey would write a decent plot. CW should fire Eric Wallace and all the horrible writers stuff because they don't have any idea about doing their job. It's sad because we are given good quality and direction in this season. And the cast just follow writer's scripts. But the writing is just awful and terrible: power of love, pep talks... Even the S4 of Arrow is better. Hopefully with Godspeed's arc they will have some redemption, but probably not xd.

Yet another episode of The Iris.
hasansevik26 May 2021
Not only does Barry Allen need Iris to do his day job AND his superpowering job, he now needs her scientific expertise at STAR Labs.

Any reason why this does isn't renamed The Iris already...?

Do you even try anymore?
tolispapg19 December 2021
If the initial plan was to explore Barry's and Iris's love - just do a show about it and leave the flash out of this. This never ending love tail can only be described as exhausting at this point. The show isn't a superhero show anymore it's just another basic soap opera.

Lot of people are disagree but I love this episode
juliansenechal26 May 2021
It's one of the best episode in this season with the ep2 because the effect are amazing, the Tensions, this was spectacular, finally Iris and Barry talk about sex, and this storyline end good but lot of people are disagree and t'say that this episode is weird, I'm not a big fan of the speech and power of love but hear, it's very appropriate to the end, and after 4 month Ralph and sue really dissappear and every body didn't care.

Warning: Spoilers
The beginning of the episode was alright, then it turned into some confusing chaos. It looks as if the writers have just given up!!

I am glad that this whole plot, whatever this was intended to be, is finally over.

Dont know how much i can take if it carries on like this. Maybe it's really time to end the series.
