Please note: This review does not contain spoilers, but does try and focus on the content of this episode and not the series in general, which I enjoyed.
Fitting with the style of the series, the ending was not Hollywood, but nor was it entirely satisfying and more mysterious than gratifying, but maybe that was the point. With a complete absence of flashbacks, the viewer is left none the wiser regarding motives or origins of the characters of Sumner and Drax.
Yes, the acting remains solid and there is some action and drama, and the majority of 'loose ends' are tied up in a series of mini-conclusions, with only one of these being 'off camera'. But I can pretty safely predict that, even though not everything was depicted on-screen, there will be no sequel and the viewer left to predict the final outcome.
I still recommend the series on the whole, but don't expect the full package here.
