A powerful, thought provoking final episode.
Sleepin_Dragon16 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
On the inside, Jeff begins to receive fan letters, and gains a notoriety alongside Bundy and Gacey. It isn't long before his new found fame costs him dearly.

I have really enjoyed the way in which this series has made you think, you have definitely been made to question how you feel about Dahmer, for most of it, they've presented him as a devil, in this one and the last one, they've tried to make you think a little differently, perhaps contemplating the thought that he wasn't responsible.

You are being asked to consider, maybe, that Dahmer was suffering from an illness, found god, and didn't know what he was doing. Personally my opinion does not align with that thinking, you may have a differing view.

It's quite a graphic final episode, Dahmer's demise is quite brutal, it's very hard to have any compassion for him, he died the same way as he killed many of his victims.

It's hard not to have a tear in your eye when you see the faces of his victims at the end.

The acting, is just tremendous once again, Peters has been phenomenal throughout.

9/10.

Sincere Exploration of Grace and Mercy
IAM4UK-228 March 2023
This episode shocked me. Its opening scene is the most like a horror movie of the entire series, and that is saying a lot. It was the worst part of this episode, so don't despair. The central portion of this episode is a surprisingly sincere and moving examination of two vital principles. The scene with Dahmer talking to the priest in prison is a clear, understandable, challenging and inspiring lesson on GRACE. Superbly well-done. And the following scene with Glenda and her pastor is a similarly thoughtful treatise on MERCY. Only God knows if Dahmer's decision that followed was sincere, but if it were, then even he could be forgiven. But not by men. The inmate who studied Dahmer's crimes sought JUSTICE, which is a different matter.

This is truly a fascinating and thought-provoking bit of work, and made the series overall better than it would otherwise have been. Good work.

POWERFULL ENDING

Warning: Spoilers
After watching heart wrenching scenes of Jeff Dahmer commiting these horrible crimes i kinda felt peaceful when the inmate bashed his head open. Dahmer was clever he kept asking for lethal injection and electric chair because he knew it was an easy way out but i really liked the divine justice in the end and he died a very painful slow death, the crew and the team did a good job with makeup and evan peters did an amazing job. I also found the ending statementt of the judge to be very scary, its true u can never tell what is going inside a human brain even though people appear to be normal in daily life. Chilling.

So sad

For dahmer to do all he did it was shocking to see him become a statistic of Scarver. Christopher Scarver is a scary guy! Wow. He doesn't seem violent in the beginning but he proved that he could be. Frightening guy and powerful scene. This is the best episode throughout the entire series. Dahmer did a lot of cowardly like killings, nothing worth talking about really. I was surprised to see that the series was 10 episodes. He had a good father though the mother was a part time nut case. That's no excuse. He had every opportunity to do something productive with his life he chose otherwise. It was disappointing to see lionel not willing to allow those that were killed families to receive compensation for the projects he had in plan. I expected more from him but people show who they are eventually. Anyway amazing episode! Brilliant job and well done to the director and writers!

A miracle

Warning: Spoilers
I'm so glad Netflix told this story of Dahmer becoming a Christian while in prison. Yes people will critique those also in the episode who claimed to be Christians. But the love of God was shown through the saving of Dahmer for sure. This is the Gospel. That anyone can be saved at any point in their life. No one is too far gone and that no one is past the judgement of God. He will either condemn or save those who have lived and through the blood of Christ we can all know the glory of the God.

People condemn themselves when they have done bad things and Dahmer was the prime suspect for this. You either take the full force or ask for forgiveness and Jesus to pay the debt. He wanted to die and ultimately wanted a way out. It's only natural and they want to be forgiven a lot and as a result will love a lot when they are forgiven. This is why they show most change. Their life is flipped upside down. God helps those that are poor in spirit, not those that believe they don't need help or feel they are condemned. People say they want a God of Love. This is a God of Love. Not one sheep is lost for eternity.

Truth As Told By A Liar
TheFearmakers22 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Again they have to lie to give Christopher Scarver an excuse for killing Dahmer, and he doesn't need an excuse... Scarver did something for all of us, and he was great for doing it: but here they show Dahmer, a wimpy white dude, as acting like the bully from My Bodyguard (Scarver said Dahmer did this but he was a murderous liar BEFORE he did the world a favor)...

Overall, this is a kind of halfway serial killer movie, and another part is a Civil Rights movie... That's show biz, but overall, while interesting and while pulling you in, it's far too long...

Evan Peters as Dahmer plays the same droning creep from the beginning when he was picking up gay guys as he does here in prison. When you watch the Stone Philips 1994 interview with Dahmer, you can see that the most ironic thing is how "normal" Dahmer seems. Almost boring. But he doesn't act like he's a cardboard cutout psycho from an old movie, like Peters makes him out to be...

The problem with painting Dahmer in such a weird light all the way through is there's absolutely no character-arc to the story, which tries hard to be weird and "off-putting" but if everything is weird and off-putting, what's there to compare it with?

There's a scene before Dahmer meets his end, and he's lying down, reading the bible... This is probably the most real moment Peters could conjure... He and Ryan Murphy basically created another AHS season. Which is a shame.... because serial killer biopics are pretty interesting when they simply stick to the facts. As truth is stranger than fiction. Which MONSTER mostly is.
