Good episode but not worth a week's wait!
imptsir22 May 2021
This was a good filler as fillers go. But was it worth a week's wait? Definitely not, Disney Plus needs to think of a strategy regarding these 20-30 mins episodes because after waiting for a whole week, expectations are right up there!

Anyways, love the chemistry of our Dad Batch with lil kid Omeeeeeega! Wrecker is nailing every scene he's in!

Where is the clone force 99?
danielcp-0135821 May 2021
They just focus again in Omega!

We're interested in the Omega's history, but we want to know more deep about the Dad Batch background; origin, internal conflicts... Please Jennifer Corbett, more Star Wars!

Honestly Anticlimactic
SHU_Movies21 May 2021
When Fennec was first shown in the trailers, I was super hyped to see her! I wanted to see the awesome Bounty Hunter at her prime, absolutely destroying the competition. Although what we saw was good, it wasn't all that great. This felt like a filler episode that they put a cameo in to make more interesting.

Exciting episode!
josefjson21 May 2021
This was filler done right. The episode had a good pace and was exciting and action-packed from beginning to end. The reason for the side-mission also makes sense and we're introduced to an interesting new environment that CW fans will recognize. The episode also seems to open up a new longer arc for TBB that may stretch several episodes as they investigate this new threat. The changes that are happening in the galaxy are further eplored and we get a lot of fun, exciting and charcter-building moments with Hunter, Omega, Wrecker and Echo. All-in-all, a great episode that's opens up more plot for the show.

Excellent episode

Warning: Spoilers
Gotta say the visuals are really stunning, great use of the colors and the environment. We get Fennec Shand, let's go... Plus a sky chase ? Sign me in. Also a little bit of mystery as to why Omega is so important and who wants to get her so bad.

Too much wasted potential
kaczkahans21 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This episode has good moments but I don't know if I keep watching it if it continues the kind of story telling. This episode contains a lot of easter eggs or similarities to the Mandalorian but I'm starting to think that the writers rely too much on that. I don't need too many of them in each episode. I don't want to see another Grogu Mando relationship. I want something new. All characters except Hunter, Omega and Crosshair are not very interesting. It's so much wasted potential. Echo could be much more interesting for sure. It feels like they need to fill each episode with the unimportant characters, so they can call the series the Bad Batch. Fennic's portrayal was very good, maybe a little too op when knocking out Wrecker. She seems to be a person that is neither good nor bad at that time.

Another good episode, they introduce a new bounty hunter who seems to be nice enough to Omega who she has been sent to collect alive and well no doubt. I wonder if she'll be one of those crisis of concscience characters who at the last minute doesn't given Omega away, (when no doubt she is captured) and instead returns her to the Bad Batch before going her own way once more.

This was one of the weaker episodes but it was still okay

The only thing I was really excited about in this episode was that we got to see a familiar face but nothing else really happened in there. It is an okay episode nothing special.

This show is slowly ramping up to be more and more about Omega and what it is that makes her so special. We've seen that she has some sort of connection with the other beings, which teases that she may have the Force. Now, we see that someone has sent out a bounty on her and desperately wants her in their possession. I think that this character will end up being a very interesting entry into this universe and may give us another look at what the Kaminoans was actually working on. But that's for later. This is all about this week's very awesome episode.

It certainly feels like the show is working towards something. And whenever that something comes, the creators want us to have a big connection to the characters. Which is why they do these small episodes that are mainly about getting us invested in the characters. This wasn't an episode that had a lot of impact on what we've come to know so far as the main storyline, but it still revealed some interesting things. Without spoiling anything, it's clear that someone is after Omega, and it almost seems too obvious that it's the Empire, so I'm going out on a limp and saying that it's someone else, and I'm excited to see who. The episode shows how much Omega has become integral to the team and how they all care for her to the point where they'd risk their own safety to safe her. It's not just Hunter who seems invested anymore, but the entire crew. And in this episode, that love, and care gave room for some great action sequences that included a familiar character who I will not spoil but was definitely a welcome addition to the story. I don't think there's a lot about the episode that I could criticize, except for the fact that I had hoped to get a little more about the Empire and their doings. There wasn't a lot of tie-ins to that storyline, and it was almost like the Empire wasn't a real threat in this episode, but it was okay, because the episode was awesome without it.

"Cornered" is a great episode that has everything you could want from this show. It's filled with great action sequences and some great character development, and plants the seeds for what we're going to get in the future and I'm excited to see how it will all come to a big climax in the end.

Lots of potential, a little too focused on omega
fireandblood-464007 June 2021
Had fun with this episode, nice to see a younger fennec kicking ass. This show has ton of potential and the fact Filoni is in charge has my believing it can be great.

That being said there is wayyyyyy to much focus on omega. She isn't an overly likeable character, and I am much more interested than what is going on in the world, and the actual bad batch doing more than babysitting.

Another decent instalment
maxglen21 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This week's episode is another enjoyable romp. Nothing groundbreaking but we get to spend more time with Omega and Hunter and see their relationship continue to grow and we are reintroduced to Fennec Shand, though here she is a far younger and arguably, more ruthless bounty hunter than when we saw her in Mandalorian. I thought we were going to see her in an episode or two but this episode's climax hints at the fact that we may be spending a bit more time with her than expected as she hunts down the Omega and the Batch. We also got some more banter between Echo, Wrecker and Tech although I wish we got more of Wrecker. A strong 7 to a light 8/10.

Definitely filler, but I enjoy the chemistry with these characters and my admiration and interest in Omega continues to grow. Seeing Fennic is action again was pretty cool. Decent episode.

Can they stop using those over user tropes?? Omega run AGAIn into troubles, and the batch need to rescue her AGAIN... No omega, dont run into the dark streets after your doll... omg!!! This show would be over in 1 episode if not for those filler. Start telling a story and stop using those useless episodes.

On the sovereign moon of Pantora
ha77y73ad9721 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Another coming together of the best of the new characters that have been introduced recently to star wars. Luckily this doesn't include any of the sequel characters. With the team landing on Pantora for supplies they are hunted down but Fennic Shand. Since her introduction on the Mandalorian from being a target to reluctant ally and now the under worlds right hand hunter this is great to see why this path will lead her leading up to the event of season 1 of the Mandalorian.

Have to admit its starting to become the Omega show with getting herself is crazy situations because of her innocence which may cause the fan base to start to turn on this character very quickly. The story of the episode was quick and got them moving off to the next planet and I hope that this will turn into a full story arc in the coming episodes as this did feel like a small filler.

Possible nod to Rogue One with the stormtrooper doll that Jyn also had was another great piece of detail that the master mind Dave Filoni can call upon in each episode.

Overall its enjoyable but if the pay offs of these types of episodes start to drag into more of the series these could turn into a mediocre version of the Rebels series. Where Clone Wars was an epic series with some boring episodes and Rebels was a mostly boring series with some truly epic episodes I will always hope for the clone wars story telling.

First of all, Fennec is such a bad-ass. I cannot wait to see more of her in stunning animation. This episode didn't waste my time after all. I am loving Hunter's and Omega's chemistry so far. Wrecker is just being Wrecker. Gotta love him! Echo's new design looks so cool.

10/10.

Warning: Spoilers
I actually really enjoyed this episode, there wasn't much in it, but we did get to see a young Fenec Shand from The Mandalorian, and a car/glider chase through the city that lasted for half the episode. Other than that there wasn't much, but it was a good solid episode.

Hunter v Bounty Hunter
A_Kind_Of_CineMagic22 May 2022
This episode is mainly filler again really but it does have the welcome addition of bounty hunter Fennec Shand who had been introduced in The Mandalorian.

Shand is a great character and her involvement is intriguing as we wonder what plot is going on and what Omega's story is.

Overall this is not hugely impressive but is quite enjoyable. I was starting to get a little bit impatient with the slow storytelling but was also intrigued by snippets of plot threads we had been given.

My rating: 7.5/10.

Out of character actions and decisions make this a downer
otto_tieleman22 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Omega is bringing the whole batch lives in danger while the hard boiled and trained killers go above and beyond to fail in most of their attempts to get the annoying plotpoint back instead of saving their own backs.

For a lame kids series this has a lot of killing in addition of bad writhing. An epic fight between the bounty hunter and Wreckers is over in one hit, the chase scene is badly animated and the subplot with the droids isn't funny nor smart.

Sure it's the best Disney has done with this ip but that is a low standard.

Fun filler...
Wililjam27 May 2021
The episode was another filler, which is expected. A "new" character was introduced, and I am very excited to see her in the coming episodes. Seeing her employer will be very interesting indeed.

All in all, good episode, as good as a filler episode can be. 7.5/10.

Flawed writing deflated my enjoyment of Fennec's incredible return.
truthbrarian23 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
For me to explain what I didn't like about this episode, I must use spoilers, sorry. To me, when you can see deus ex machina everywhere its a very bad plot, which is what we got here and I think the promise of 'Omega won't be an annoying kid who is near more trouble than she is worth' was also broken, the episode revolved around her making mistakes and her rescue seemed more based on 'this needed to happen so it did' than her own intelligence or cunning.

Also, there were some unethical scenes for a kids show, that made me dislike this episode. They decided to write a con artist scene into the show to get credits. Why couldn't they have just worked as a team, done jobs on the planet to make the credits rather than condone theft to get what you want? Also notable are some distasteful on screen deaths for a kids show, they easily could've shown the people falling to the ground unharmed with 10-30 seconds of extra footage.

Good parts of the show were Fennec being nicely voice acted by Ming Na-Wen and her badass moves, the character designs and droid designs being top notch, getting to see a familiar yet interesting planet...err moon and the action scenes being quite fun, I just had to give a 4/10 because the writing in this episode felt cheap and unearned but for average fans of the series, the action and return of Fennec is going to likely satisfy.

Omega is destroying this show...
All I can say is that Omega character is a desaster, bad design, bad voice acting, annoying and distracting. And I am one of those who liked Ashoka right from the start...

Bad Batch can't handle bounty hunters...
themarinemike22 May 2021

I mean really... These guys take on armies at a time. Enter one female bounty hunter and all the sudden these guys are useless. Really getting sick of lazy writing. Quit virtue signaling. We get it. You're ruining Star Wars with your personal beliefs.

Thats the Bad Batch For loyal ex soldiers their morale deteriorated faster than the empires (who actually up to this point in the time line did nothing wrong, except maybe deal a bit to hard with the religion of terror attempting to overthrow the democratically elected supreme mugwump of the galaxy?)!

Oh and having an unconscious enemy at your feet, maybe kill them? Takes you 5 secs max, you are one of the top bounty hunters, are you not?
