Oh good god, what is this?The excuse for Declan and Bridget even being allowed to get married is lame beyond belief(Bridget changed her mind about getting married almost straightaway so when did they have time to get a marriage licence?).The priest is obviously a Neighbours fan since he agrees to marry them on the basis of a five minute conversation.And so the stage is set for the world's least likely teenage parents to become the world's least likely married teenagers.
Putting aside who the episode's centred around, there is at least some decent stuff in here.Donna getting excited about the wedding is nicely in character but Sunny gets jumped on for rightly pointing out that they're insane.It's great that Ringo understands what Bridget wants for a honeymoon better than Bridget does and the contrast between the boys sitting around doing nothing while the girls get excited about hair and make-up is nicely done.
The wedding is marred still further by the dreadful music accompanying Bridget's entrance;presumably only the audience are unlucky enough to hear it and the characters can just hear the organ music.Still, it ends on a nice note with Miranda's understandable reaction to the farce:"What have you done?!"
