The episode is incredibly uncomfortable to watch. I'll give them that high school is an uncomfortable time and Victor is an awkward kid but as someone who went through high school at the same time this show is set, it truly felt like whoever made this had never talked to a current teenager. Everything about it is so weird from the pressure on Victor to take nudes to the "make out party" to everything else that went on. Having a young character give in to peer pressure and have it be seen as a positive in the end just is uncomfortable to me. I would've rathered they focused on the renn faire for an episode rather than this to make up for the insane lack of schemes this season. Really disappointed by this season as a whole.

I'm a fan of the show and enjoyed a lot of S4, but this episode is beyond compromised ethically and morally. The plot depicts 15 & 16 year olds sending nudes as a rite of passage, with the only classmate to not have done so feeling immature as a result. Rather than addressing the very real legal and emotional issues associated with taking and sharing these images (manufacturing of child porn, unwanted school wide distribution of intimate images shared in confidence), the plot follows this character taking photos, sharing them to mixed reviews, and ultimately finding success and increased maturity.
Ultimately it was incredibly disappointing that, in an episode where the writers specifically decided to address this issue, it was in such an irresponsible manner.

First of all, the Ren Faire should never be the B plot -- not in a show like this. The cast could have shined, Glenn Howerton was already in that beautiful doublet, and the revenge scheme was surprisingly solid (for a show where the reasons for doing things never really matter.)
Instead, this episode focuses on a child taking nsfw photos.
Yeah. Let that sink in for a second.
At least the actor is of age. What little consolation that provides.
This episode is just full of EXTREMELY uncomfortable scenes, interspersed with a boringly predictable plot, a C plot not even worth mentioning, and the disappointment of losing out on the much better version of this ep where they terrorize a Ren Faire.
(Side point: the love interest Victor ends up with uses they/them pronouns irl. Could have been a cool opportunity for their character to as well! Not a complaint, just a missed opportunity imo.)
