Penny Pax is terrific in this "woman's film" (to use that old-fashioned term) about adultery and an illusory true love.
Opening scene creatively has Penny in her bathroom, with erotic fantasies of lover Ryan McLane having sex with her there, interrupted by a knock on the door from her husband Gerald (not seen). When Ryan shows up after Gerald leaves in their Jeep, they have a strong sex scene on the sofa in the enclosed porch, that favored location used by Missa X back in Wisconsin.
Surprise ending is quite dramatic, and solidly acted by Pax, whose warm, emphathetic presence is crucial to the success of this short movie.
