I mentioned in my review for last week's episode that I like the show having more episodes carry over and not be resolved in one hour, but this case was quite underwhelming. I did not get a sense of fear in the killer either when it was revealed that he most likely committed the heinous acts in the end. The casting missed the mark on that one if that is what they were going for.
Still, the show is at least giving us some interesting cases and that is all you can ask for. All Rise has a good balance and distinct tone that sets it apart from the rest of the competing programs that exist on streaming or TV.
